Like honestly I played for about 30 minutes and I haven't seen you but what I did see made me feel like we really need some more staff members.

Positive, now that I've found out who you are; by just looking at your Discord messages, I can see that you want to help the server as much (if not more) than the rest of the moderators (no offense BTW, this is aimed at sin (<still a joke)).
J-Mod wouldn't hurt to try, you're friendly and quite funny (to me) though I'm not sure if that's your goal but whatever.
About Mod, I'd be neutral but I wouldn't be negative, just convince me that he deserves it and for sure.

It's better than replying that you were rejected.
You should be patient and prove yourself worthy of that role until the final decision by him.
EDIT:
Usually from my experience when it takes a while for your application to be decided it means the admins are unsure if you deserve the role, but they're also unsure if you DON'T deserve that role.
Which means you need to prove to them that you do deserve it. Convince them before they decide that you don't deserve it.
