It is about time we can say the forum is "dead". The servers are down again and there is yet no hope to think they will be popular again. In the meantime, I got an idea about championships/tournaments for -[FWS]-! (This might be a weird idea, I've not checked if it was ever in progress).
I will be honest, I have not got all of the things sorted and arranged, but, from the point of this, I thought about some stuff.. We will obviously, encounter some issues and problems. I need you to help me to arrange all of this and maybe being supportive we can make this reality and -[FWS]- community can be fun and enjoyable once again.
Moving onto the details...
I would suggest to use Challonge. It is a reliable website for friendly tournaments and championship. All of the participants should sign up on the website and enter the competition.
We shouldn't forget the main part, the game. I didn't think much about this, I thought about Hearthstone but not everyone is going to play it, so that is what I need you to suggest and choose one game that is going to be played. The game should be multiplayer, 1v1, everyone should be able to run it.
REWARDS AND PRIZES...
In the end of every tournament winner receives an award. I won't be able to handle the rewards all myself but I've got some ideas, for example a video game as a reward which will be sent trough steam, but maybe we can get better ideas later. Eitherway, the main purpose of this is fun but rewards are attracts players to participate.
This project will also expand the -[FWS]- community, it is a shame if we stick to CS2D jail all the time.
That is it for now, hope this project won't fail and the forum won't go all inactive.
